The ease of doing business analytic and reporting tool has been developed by the World Bank to enhance the understanding of business climate in respective countries/economies and assessing conditions, policies and regulations impacting positively or negatively on business endeavors. It consists of several indicators on about 190 economies.

The indicators include about 12 areas of business regulation covering areas such as starting a business, securing utilities, minority rights protection, contract enforcement and resolving insolvency.

The tool can be used to run queries and reports and conduct analysis on global, regional, subnational, thematic indicators as well as case study.
